About the neighbourhood
Crail itself is a busy little fishing village with lots to explore and enjoy on its own doorstep. There are several good tea rooms, a small co-op food store, butchers, fruit/veg & fish shop, bakers, pharmacist, post office and the Beehive for everything else you might need! There are three hotels throughout the town which serve meals. The Golf Hotel which dates back to 1700 is a nice place to go for a pub lunch or dinner. Beside the old tollbooth on the Marketgate is the Crail Museum and Heritage Centre which is open throughout the summer months and some weekends in the spring. In the heart of the cobbled lanes is Crail Pottery. It is small, but crammed full of pots and crockery to browse, or to buy a memento of your holiday.
