The grand drawing room at first floor level has French doors opening onto the balcony and is the perfect spot to sit and watch the myriad of boats bobbing in the water or sailing by at high tide. There is also a small kennel for a dog in the courtyard. The area is a must for watersports, sailing enthusiasts and fishermen, whilst walkers and cyclists will enjoy the famous Tarka Trail which passes close by. Further afield, the rugged North Devon coastline and wonderful surfing beaches of Croyde or Woolacombe are just a short drive away. North Devon is well positioned for visits to Exmoor, Dartmoor and North Cornwall including the local beauty spots of Bucks Mill, Clovelly and Hartland. With so much to explore in this lovely part of North Devon, this is the perfect base for a memorable holiday. Golf is available locally, and Bideford is just 3 miles away, with family attractions including The Big Sheep and The Milky Way adventure parks. We have stayed at Watersedge four times, unfortunately it is now looking and feeling tired. The house needs a good clean and furniture/fittings need replacing. However, we still love it!
