The cottage offers a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and an opportunity to take in the sights and sounds of the surrounding countryside including enjoying the wonderful views down the valley and out to sea. Footpaths offering truly inspiring walks along the nearby sea cliffs provide spectacular views of the coastline, while the route of the Heddon river through the wooded valley bottom to Heddons Mouth beach are all on your door step. The local area offers many famous beauty spots such as the twin coastal villages of Lynton and Lynmouth, the Doone Valley, Watersmeet and Porlock Weir. Magnificent high cliffs, and hidden sand and shingle coves can be found all along the dramatic Exmoor coast whilst wide sandy surfing beaches at Woolacombe and Croyde are a short drive away.
