Our coastal cottage is 100m from the beach, perfect for families and cosy romantic breaks. You’ll love it for the sea views, proximity to Burgh Island, cliff walks and the 13th C pub up the road. Lovingly refurbished with a log burner for winter and a sunny garden and conservatory. You can see Burgh Island from your window and hear the waves crashing as you go to sleep.

The kitchen is well equipped with a range cooker and farmhouse dining table. Log burner in the living room for cosy winters and a sunny conservatory and patio garden with views to sea.

Two double bedrooms (one in the loft which has a steep staircase - handrail provided), one children's room with two single beds. Shower room.

Travel cot, high chair and baby bath are available on request. Bed linen and towels all provided.

We'll call you on arrival to make sure you have everything you need and recommend places to go, and are always contactable for any questions. Our housekeeper Elaine lives just up the cliff path and will pop by to make sure you're settled in and is on hand for any problems that might arise.

We stayed here over the new year with our kids - both under 7 - and absolutely loved it. We felt right at home here. Fantastic cottage with a lovely, safe little beach on the doorstep and wonderful views to Burgh Island. The Cottage is beautifully decorated and could not fault its cleanliness. The cottage is in a good location with views across the bay. The beach at the foot of the road doesn't allow dogs so if you have a dog then the next beach along via the coastal path is the one to let the dogs run on. The cottage itself is very pretty. Lots of nice touches. Comfy beds and...

Beach: less than 100m from property. Burgh Island is a short walk away and you can hire kayaks or learn to surf at one of the UK's best surf schools.

Walks: Situated by the South West coastal path, it's a short walk to Ayrmer's Cove National Trust beach and plenty of coastal walks and dog friendly beaches close by.

Closest towns are Modbury and Kingsbridge (7 miles). Plenty of trips and days out to nearby Salcombe, Totnes, fruit picking farms, Dartmoor & Paignton zoos, gin tasting at Plymouth Gin and wine /cheese at Sharpham's vineyard.
