'The Cottage' is a traditional Irish fisherman's cottage, renovated and turned into a cosy and comfortable three bedroomed house. It is situated in a peaceful rural area in the south of Ireland overlooking the Blackwater River and Knockmealdown mountains.
The house has a large living room with wood stove, fully equipped kitchen, three bedrooms (2 double, 1 twin) and bathroom with bath and electric shower. Beside the house is a storeroom which contains wood for the stove (recycled driftwood) and can also be used for storage of any equipment you may have (bike, kayak etc.).

'The Cottage' is an ideal base to explore the south of Ireland, popular activities include walking and trekking, cycling, fishing, golf, horse riding, water sports and of course enjoying Irish heritage and culture.

We stayed last week for 3 Nights and had such a warm welcome from Maurice. The cottage is in such a beautiful place with amazing views it has everything you could think off in it ... Even down to electric blankets for the colder nights....More
