Interaction with guests
Our family have been happliy holidaying in Sunset Cottage for 20 years, continually improving the amenities and decor to make it feel like your home from home. The cottage is managed by our mum, who lives 1 mile away in Ruan Minor. She employs a diligent and reliable cleaner for changeovers which occur every Saturday between 10am and 2pm. If you are bringing a pet she will make contact and collect the appropriate fee. If you need to ask anything on arrival please email or send me an SMS. My details are displayed in the property, as are my mum's. Enjoy your stay, Nick M.

About the neighbourhood
If you haven't visited the Lizard peninsula before - I find it helps to think of it as an island! There are beaches on 3 sides (west, south and east) all are visitable via a short car journey. All are linked by the Coastal Path. The nearest is Kynance Cove (National Trust), I reckon it is one of the top ten most spectacular beaches in the British Isles. Also nearby is Kennack Sands; Cadgwith's famous fishing cove is just down the road. The Lizard Point (NT) is crowned by a lighthouse and at low tide is the best for rock-pooling. For surfing enthusiasts we recommend Poldhu Cove and Looe Bar. Perhaps the most picturesque and evocative is Gunwalloe Church Cove (NT) and the nearby Dollar Cove. Many if not all have featured in 'Poldark' on TV.
