Holiday Rental House
Little Gwendreath is comprised of the main farm house built in the late 19th century and four self-catering cottages which were originally the farm outbuildings. Each of our cottages has two bedrooms, one of which can either be set up as a super king or twin beds. Outside there is a private garden for each cottage and a laundry room (opposite the main house) for your use. Also inside the laundry room is a selection of leaflets about local attractions, a games rack and a bookshelf should you need anything to read or play on your holiday. Wifi is also provided. To the east is a small stream and path that leads down to the beach at Kennack sands. The area surrounding Little Gwendreath is a national nature reserve and a site of special scientific interest. The east beach is dog friendly. Passing by the beach is the South West Coast Path which runs for a total of 630 miles and passes through four counties. You can take the path to get to nearby places of interest like Cadgwith or Kynance Cove which make for beautiful day trips.More

Interaction with guests
We will be around to welcome you unless we have contacted you to advise otherwise. We live onsite in the main house, we want you to enjoy the cottage as your own for your stay so after we have shown you around we will leave you to enjoy your stay, unless of course you wish to pick our brains about the area and then we are happy to help out in any way we can, we will take your lead on this. If you have any problems please either knock on our door or send us a message.

About the neighbourhood
The area surrounding Little Gwendreath is a national nature reserve and a site of special scientific interest within Cornwall’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The rare geology of the area creates a haven for exceptional plants and flowers. Around the coastline you’ll find little fishing ports with huge granite sea walls to protect from the Atlantic gales, restaurants specialising in freshly caught seafood, and gorgeous sandy bays with jagged black rocks jutting out in to the sea (Kennack Sands, Kynance Cove and Coverack beach and more). Stand right on the tip of the Lizard and look out to sea. At 49°57' N, the most southerly point on the UK’s mainland, watch the waves as they hurtle to the shore and try to catch a glimpse of a seal.
Getting around
Our location is remote with very limited public transport nearby so it is best to come by car so that you can fully explore the area.
