In the heart of Poldark country, just minutes walk from Trehannah Cottage you will find Stippy Stappy, Wheal Kitty, Trevaunance Cove and many of the other locations mentioned in the famous stories of Ross and Demelza.
Trehannah is nestled on a leafy lane, in the heart of pretty St Agnes village, less than a mile from the sandy beach at Trevaunance Cove and a short walk from butchers, bakers, surfboard makers and six village pubs!
The beach has everything you need: beach shop, bar, restaurant, ice cream, expresso, surf school and friendly life guards.
Within 10 minutes drive are the miles of golden sand at Chapel Porth, Perranporth and Porthtowan .
The county town of Truro is just 7 miles away and quick access to the A30 means all of Cornwall is easily accessible.

Beautiful cottage, delightful Cornish village setting and a stunningly beautiful region. Communication with owners excellent throughout - extremely helpful. We would definitely visit again.

What a lovely place to stay. The cottage is 5*. All boxes ticked. The location, peaceful road just off the high street. Close enough to all the village facilities. Short breaks of a minimum of 4 nights will be subject to availability during the Winter, Spring and Autumn periods
New Year 2011/12 still available at £100 per night for a minimum stay of 4 nights

2) Owners will check availability and electronically send rental agreement to guest.
3) Guest to return booking agreement and pay deposit of 30% electronically (or by post and cheque). Owners confirm booking upon receipt
4) Guest to forward remaining 70% of rental cost 4 weeks prior to holiday period (preference is for elctronic transfer). Owners to confirm receipt and forward final instructions and general additional information.

St Agnes has a number of different areas, we warn you so that you don't think a local is sending you to another village to buy a paper. Trehannah Cottage is in Rosemundy. There is also 'Churchtown', 'Peterville' 'up on the Beacon' 'down at the Cove' or sometimes 'down at Aggie beach' (same place)

In February 2016, St Agnes was listed by The Guardian in the Top 50 beaches in the world. In the 'Best for Action and Activities' Trevaunance Cove listed number 41 ( near to Oahu, Hawaii at number 38!).
