There is a local Londis shop and Post Office in Crantock. All major banks and shops can be found in Truro with some smaller ones in Newquay
There are a number of surf schools and shops in the area of Crantock, Holywell and Newquay. More details can be found on our website. Cycling is also very popular in this area with old tram lines being converted into cycle paths. (Camel Trail and Bissoe Trail) There are also plenty of National Trust houses and gardens to visit whilst staying in Cornwall and a variety of activities for children. (Dairyland, Newquay Zoo, Newquay Aquarium, National Maritime Museum, The Eden Project, Creely Adventure Park, Holywell Bay Fun park.....to name but a few)

Coming from Bodmin, leave the A30 at Indian Queens, following the signs for Newquay. At the roundabout at Quintrell Downs, take the road signed A392.
At the roundabout by Morrisons carry straight on. At the next roundabout turn LEFT on to the A3075. After 500 yards turn RIGHT for Crantock. At the next junction turn right towards Crantock. On entering the village, do not turn right into the centre, but stay on the West Pentire road for 1 mile to the hamlet of West Pentire.
