Waylands cottage, with its many original features makes an ideal retreat for families wanting to experience the Cornish way of life - in luxury. A well equipped home with modern kitchen, recently refurbished top spec bathroom and a second bathroom.

All modern appliances including Wi-Fi, LED TV with Freeview HD and BluRay player. Beamed ceilings, slate flagstone floor, log burner, oil fired central heating and double glazed throughout. Property also has a conservatory and utility room.

Landscaped, enclosed rear gardens with illumination at night to give a magical mood. Gardens also include a large wooden gazebo and a courtyard area with built-in BBQ and patio furniture. Parking for three cars.

The cottage felt like a home from home. It was extremely well equipped with everything we could ever need, it didn’t matter what we accidentally left behind, we found it here! Additional Rate and Availability Information
A £200 booking deposit is required (this will be refunded only if the property is successfully re-let). Full payment will be required 8 weeks before the start date of the booking.

A refundable good housekeeping deposit of £250 is also required at the time of settling the balance. This will be kept as a security deposit and will be returned to you providing there is no damage to the property.

Minimum booking is 1 week. The property is available from 4.30pm on day of arrival and will need to be vacated by 10.00am on day of departure.

There is some flexibility provided you contact us early or at the time of booking.

Should you wish to book two weeks then we offer £100 discount.

About the neighbourhood
Crantock is a picturesque village of historical note, on the North coast of Cornwall with one of the best beaches in the area. It has an ancient church, two pubs a tea room, an art gallery, gift shop and a village store.

It is only five miles from Newquay, but a world apart. It is popular with families in the summer and people who wish to surf, walk and enjoy all Cornwall has to offer all year round.

Crantock is the site of a much older settlement - Langurroc, which means the 'dwelling of the monks'. The village gets it name from the Celtic Saint Caranog, who is also known as Carantoc. By Road:
From North of Bristol - M5 towards Exeter, A30 towards Bodmin & Redruth, A392 towards Newquay, then follow the signs to Crantock.
From East of Bristol - M4, M5 towards Exeter or A303, A30 towards Exeter then M5 (S).

By Air: Newquay airport, with its regular, scheduled services is only a fifteen minute drive away.

By Rail: Regular rail services connect to Newquay from most of the country. More direct services operate to Truro which is approximately 12 miles from Crantock.

Hire cars are readily available at Newquay Airport as well as both Newquay and Truro rail stations. Alternatively, we can provide details of local taxi operators that can be booked in advance to meet and greet.
