The bedroom has an enormously comfortable 6' bed with a separate day bed for a child under 12. In the living area you will also find a woodburning stove, perfect for those cosy nights in. A little hideaway, Number 1 The Hinges is the perfect place for those wishing to explore what Crantock has to offer, with all local amenities just a short walking distance away. Amenities: Wood burning stove. Two well behaved dogs welcome. Off road parking for 1 car. WiFi. Fully fitted,well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob, granite tops. 1 travel cot for a child under 2 and high chair available. Included in the rental price is bed linen, hand towel and shower mat plus each guest is provided with a bath and hand towel - guests must provide their own beach towels. Fuel and power included in rent. Sorry, no smoking. Village centre and 5 minutes walk to beach. One small step up to french doors/front door from the drive, 1 flight of stairs for 2 floors. Note: The bedroom is in the eaves so there may be a height restriction, but if you are 6ft or under, there should not be a problem. Note: Check-in is from 4pm. Note: Sorry, no hen, stag parties or similar. Note: There is a £40 charge per pet. Region: Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations. Town: Crantock is a small Cornish village set back from the coast close to the popular resort of Newquay. If you want to escape the crowds, yet still be close to the action, this is the place to be. There's stunning countryside all around and lots of pretty villages to explore; however, it is the coast that dominates. Enjoy superb walks along the coastal path over dramatic cliff-tops, or magnificent surfing on beaches stretching from Watergate Bay in the north to Fistral beach in the centre of Newquay and on down the coast. There are a number of golf courses in the area, National Trust properties, traditional pubs and outstanding restaurants. Newquay itself is a visitor's paradise with a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as attractions such as the Sea Life Centre, Newquay Zoo and nearby Dairyland and Eden Project.More

Just got home from a wonderful weeks stay at no1 the hinges crantock. This is the 2nd winter stay in this cottage which is just lovely for us and our dog. Cottage is warm, cosy and very comfortable (not even had to light the log...More

Been coming to Crantock for many years as part of a large group. As there was only the two of us we tried No 1 The Hinges. Loved it. Fab bed, comfy siting room. We had great weather, but will come again in the winter...More
