Just a short walk will take you to Crantock beach, with its famous sandy beach, an ideal spot for surfers, the family and walking dogs. At the end of each day spent exploring Crantock and it's offerings, sit back and relax in comfort at The Corner House. Amenities: Electric radiator heating with woodburning stove. Fully fitted /well equipped kitchen with fitted wall and base units, oven, fridge, ceramic hob and access to lobby from kitchen with washing machine and coin operated tumble dryer. TV, DVD, HiFi and Free wifi access. Travel cot and Highchair available. Two well behaved pets welcome. Fully enclosed patio garden at rear of property facing North & East with benches, BBQ. To the front, a low walled garden laid to lawn with shrubs facing South & West. Parking for 1 car. Shop and pub 5 minute walk. Fuel and power included in rent. Sorry, no smoking. Note: Check in is 4pm. Note: There is a £40 charge per pet. Please note: The gardener may need to visit during your stay. Note: Sorry, no hen, stag parties or similar. Region: Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations. Town: Crantock is a small Cornish village set back from the coast close to the popular resort of Newquay. If you want to escape the crowds, yet still be close to the action, this is the place to be. There's stunning countryside all around and lots of pretty villages to explore; however, it is the coast that dominates. Enjoy superb walks along the coastal path over dramatic cliff-tops, or magnificent surfing on beaches stretching from Watergate Bay in the north to Fistral beach in the centre of Newquay and on down the coast. There are a number of golf courses in the area, National Trust properties, traditional pubs and outstanding restaurants. Visited for a week during mid September, 2 adults 2 dogs. We’ve stayed in another property in Crantock previously but we much prefer the Cornerhouse. It’s on a quiet street and like home from home. Comfortable, spacious and has all the amenities you need. The...More
