Perfect for a family getaway, the property also benefits from a conservatory that allows full enjoyment of the breath-taking views over Goose Rock to the Newquay coast. With the property being all ground floor, Cormorant is easily accessible for guests that struggle with mobility. With its 4 bedrooms, Cormorant sleeps 8 adults; 2 of the larger rooms contain a king-sized double bed, with the other two containing smaller doubles. One room is en-suite and offers views over Crantock Bay to be enjoyed. The garden at the Cormorant contains a patio and grassed area that faces Crantock bay. Containing a BBQ, seating area and hot tub there is an extra charge of £150 for Hot Tub use and a refundable deposit of £100 is required. It is a perfect place to relax with the family and friends. The Cormorant is a five-minute walk from Crantock Beach and enjoy the bonus of being just a short walk to Polly Joke Beach, making it a family or surfer's haven. A few minutes' walk away, guests can find The Bowgie Inn and C-Bay - a stylish Bistro serving great food and of course, there is the view. Crantock village is only a five-minute drive, or 20-minute walk away, where visitors will be able to find two more pubs, a grocery store, post office and other village attractions. Property require a Good Housekeeping Bond of £200 Amenities: Oil heating with logburner. Electric Range cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, drinks fridge, dishwasher, washer/dryer, 3 x TVs with Freeview and DVD, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels, towels for hot tub inc. in rent (beach towels are not included). Travel cot and highchair available. Off road parking for 2 cars, one space is at the front of the property to the left, and one is behind the property nearest to the hot tub. Rear enclosed lawned garden with patio (not escape proof). Jacuzzi hot tub available at an extra charge of £150 (seats 6-7) and outside hot shower, patio with chairs and table for 8, and charcoal BBQ. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop, pub and beach 5 mins walk. Note: The use of the hot tub is available with an extra cost of £150, payable in cash (cheque not accepted) on arrival at the property. Note: All guests using the hot tub are required to pay an additional £100.00 refundable deposit, which will be requested on arrival. Note: The hot tub should be available for most weeks in the year in the event of it not being available, this will be shown at time of booking. Note: There is a charge of £40 per pet at this property. Note: No hen/stag or similar. Note: Check in time of 4pm. Note: There are 2 steps from the parking at the front of the property down into the house, however, guests can access the property via Guillemot which is is flat. Note: There are 2 steps from the Conservatory area to the patio and then a further 2 steps down to the parking area to the rear of the property. Note: The owners have advised us of re-development works that are taking place at Goose Rock Hotel (a neighbouring property) which is currently on going until further notice, they have been assured by the owners of Goose Rock that any impact to guests will be kept to an absolute minimum. Please supervise small children and dogs. Note: The hot tub will no longer be available as of 2/1/2021 Region: Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations. Town: Crantock is a small Cornish village set back from the coast close to the popular resort of Newquay. If you want to escape the crowds, yet still be close to the action, this is the place to be. There's stunning countryside all around and lots of pretty villages to explore; however, it is the coast that dominates. Enjoy superb walks along the coastal path over dramatic cliff-tops, or magnificent surfing on beaches stretching from Watergate Bay in the north to Fistral beach in the centre of Newquay and on down the coast. There are a number of golf courses in the area, National Trust properties, traditional pubs and outstanding restaurants. Newquay itself is a visitor's paradise with a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as attractions such as the Sea Life Centre, Newquay Zoo and nearby Dairyland and Eden Project.More
