My. Bachelor condo 517 A not again
This is our 4th or 5th time staying at Mt. Bachelor Village Resort. We always get a condo facing the river and it is always gorgeous view wise. The condo itself… every time they look a bit more dated than the last but this time takes the cake. There were always screens on the living room and master bedroom doors so you could keep the door open and screen closed. In 517 A were we are staying there is no screen door on the living room door. But, we pay for the view and sound of the river so there’s a couple of flies inside right now bc only the little windows at the bottom near the floor open and they don’t let in enough sound or fresh air. The microwave looks like one of the originals from the early 80’s with no turn thingy inside. Hot spots on my reheated coffee cups in the morning and uneven heated food OUCH! Lastly, we have trash bags piling up but don’t know where to toss them. In the past, there was a cleaning person who came sometime each day to do a turn down service, toss trash etc. I get they are likely short staffed but not an excuse if they are going to still charge the same if not more. Bottom line, I’m really sad but next time we are here I’m going to look on Air BNB for a house facing the river elsewhere to rent. These condos are pretty dated and 517A is the push to go elsewhere. I know some of these are owned by one person and others by multiple. Not sure which type this one is but whoever has a say so, fix these issues.

Great location and deck
Nice deck and living room area in this cute condo. Problems existed with streaming though. Sonos app wasn't available for use due to the app needing to be updated by owner. Also Netflix password did not work. Centrally located to most activities and dining.

Fourth stay in 15 years and still our top choice
If you want privacy and roominess close to skiing and just outside Bend, this the place. Some variation in the units but same basic amenities. Updates must be on a rotation, as some guests had totally new furnishings while ours were in good repair but showing age. Management is now by Vacasa, and they were responsive to needs and sent helpful reminders in advance. Key lock boxes can be challenging to use, but they allow “no check in.” Outdoor spa is still a great congregating area. Pool had stayed open years ago but is now covered in winter. Price is reasonable, but beware the $95 cleaning fee, a real bite for a 2-day stay.

Quiet & Beautiful
If you're looking for a quiet and out of the mainstream place, this is it! The surroundings are amazing. There are trails for walking and a short distance from water sports. I can't speak for other rooms, but mine is clean, but a bit outdated. Overall nice setting!

Hello Heidysgirl, I think you must have stayed in a different condo at Mount Bachelor Village, not ours. We will contact Flipkey and let them know of the error.

Out around the Bend.
This place was Nice. We enjoyed it. It had exactly what was needed. This place was clean and close to town.We had an enjoyable stay here and felt safe. The only drawback I personally found was trying to get into the place to wash clothes. Did have difficulties with that but everything else was so wonderful it didn't even matter. Also when we first arrived had some trouble opening the door but we called our guy and he walked us through with no problem. I would recommend staying here.

Charming condo with relaxing view
Excellent cozy condo. The view on the patio was an unexpected bonus, a serene patch of high desert forest, with a road barely visible a few hundred feet off. Did not expect this nice relaxing view! A lot of attention to details in this condo - movies, board games, tea, rustic bedroom set, and only minutes from Old Mill District. Will definitely be booking this one again!

Great location and perfect place to stay in the fall and winter
We really enjoyed our stay at this condo in Mt. Bachelor Village. The reservation process was smooth, although it stings to have to pay 100% when booking. We arrived to find a very clean condo waiting for us. The best amenity is the River Trail. Walk out the front door and turn right past the pool to find the entrance to the trail. It can be an easy walk along the river as the trail is well marked and maintained or you can advance your pace and distance for a good workout. We saw deer and river otter along this trail. There are no laundry facilities in the condo, but there is a laundry room a short walk from the condo. A wash is $1.75 and the dryer is $1. 25. You can purchase detergent in the laundry room for $1.75 for a small box or visit the registration office (right in front of the condo). They sell small boxes of tide for $.50 and will also give you change for the machines. It's a good location for the river trails or even mountain biking trails. However, it's downhill one way and directly uphill on the way home from the Old Mill area. Downtown is probably not a comfortable walk from the condo. The condo has everything you would need except…air conditioning! On a summer night in Bend, it can be warm. There wasn't even a fan so my husband slept on the patio one night! (On a positive note, he did have a deer visit the patio that night.) I would highly recommend this condo for a fall, winter, or spring visit; but…find air conditioning in late June, July, or August.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your recent stay at Mount Bachelor Village unit 105. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay and that you were able to take advantage of the wonderful amenities and great location of this condo. We are sorry to hear that you were uncomfortable with the temperatures during your stay. Normally, the condo maintains a nice comfortable temperature, even in the warm summer months. Unfortunately, we were experiencing some record heat during your stay. I wish you would have called us to let us know. I would have happily brought fans and done whatever I could to make you comfortable. Per your suggestion, we have just installed a window A/C unit in the bedroom, so that future guests can have comfortable nights, even in the hottest summer days. We hope that you will return and visit us again. We enjoyed having you as our guest! Best regards, Christina Guest Services Manager
