Holiday Rental House -
3 Bedrooms , 2 Bathrooms , Sleeps 7
Bend, Central Oregon, Oregon
Private country setting with mountain views just 5 miles northwest of Bend.

This 12 year old home sits on 20 acres of open juniper and pine forest, surrounded by other large, open tracks of land. The setting is lovely and private - like your own, private park with a house in the middle of it! And, it's remarkably peaceful despite being so close to Bend.

The house is open, light, comfortable and fully furnished with good beds, comfortable linens and seating around the fireplace in the great room. The fully stocked kitchen is open to the great room and dining area, with views out into the back meadow.

Wander on the land or enjoy it from one of the three decks. Read or watch movies in the great room (there's Dish TV and a DVD Player), enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace in front of the large outdoor fireplace, or soak it...

We have totally enjoyed our stays at Tumalo Pines. It is peaceful and relaxing and quiet. The home is spacious, comfortable, and nicely clean. We have been there now 4 or 5 summer vacations in a row. My family was asking to come back again...More

This house was beyond perfect for our 2 families (4 adults & 3 kids). It's remote but not too remote, and you feel instant serenity upon arrival. We had a blast wandering the land, playing on the rope swing, hanging on the outdoor deck and...More

We plan an annual trip with friends every year, spanning from the East Coast to the West Coast. I can honestly say that this was hands down the best spot we have stayed. If you prefer a secluded atmosphere to enjoy time with friends and...More

About the neighbourhood
Our home is on 20 acres of open pine and juniper forest. The setting is beautiful, peaceful and park like. The house is surrounded by open forest and has a lovely view out front over a large, tree dotted meadow to the Three Sister's Mountains. We're surrounded by other large parcels of open land and forest, so it's very private. And, though it feels so far removed it is still so very close to Bend - only a 7-8 minute drive. That combination makes it such a great place to stay.
Getting around
We're in a very low traffic area with very easy access to Bend, and to Mt Bachelor (by skirting around the west side of Bend).
