The entrance hall opens to the front and back gardens and its flower gardens and the view make the park a place to read or receive friends and family in its several seating areas with dining opportunities as well as a place to play badmitten or volley ball or ping pong....The salon is spacious and gives out to the views of the gardens and trees and the steeple of the eleventh century church opposite. or to the adjoining mannoir with its gardens and outbuildings. The petit salon is cozy and offers a sunny place to read or catch up on the news by satilite or what ever cultural opportunities are to be found here on the television. The salle a manger is often a place to gether for meals or to enjoy the warmth of a fire in the fireplace or yet another place to read or converse. The kitchen, which has in it top of the line appliances such as can be housed in an efficient galley kitchen with its arriere cuisine adjoining is open to the salle a manger. A lavatory is tucked under the grand staircase along side the coat closet. On the floor above, there are three bedrooms, one with attached bath and walk-in shower, with a double brass bedstead. The two other bedrooms on the floor with queen four poster beds share a large bathroom with soaking tub and shower. Each of these rooms like the common rooms below has its own working fireplace. On the next floor up there is a double bed in what was originally the library with its ancient doors and cabinetry. A large and comfortable room is adjoining with its day bed, having two single beds, aditional. The bathroom on that floor has a tub and shower. The views from all the rooms are most agreable. The furnishings include orientals, antiques, family pieces, with fine paintings through out the rooms. Guests are welcome by the night (bed & Breakfast) with breakfast and dinner by arrangement (for an aditional fee or by the week. Rates upon rerquest. 'The Presbyter' is a very fine 17th century manor house that sits on top of a great hill commanding a view of the countryside and the hills beyond. It is built of half timbers and is remarkable for being Iight and sunny with high ceilings, having 6 fireplaces in the principal rooms, which are in working order and cleaned annually. There is a supply of wood in the kitchen house available for your use. As the house has been recently decorated in soft blue grey and white in the downstairs, with orientals and antiques, family pieces, it is at once comfortable and inviting. The kitchen is new and has in it a fine dishwasher. The cupboards in the kitchen and dining room which is adjoining contain various sets of dishes and silver, tablecloths and placemates all of which are available for yo...
