Lovely modern cabin with fabulous 180 degree water views. Watched the yachts racing and the ferries to Bruny Island. Daily visits from wallabies, some with joeys, pottaroos, possums and splendid blue wrens. Ah, the serenity.

About the neighbourhood
The village offers ready access to arts, culture as well as beautiful and varied bushland with a network of trails and tracks that wind through the bush and coastal reserve. A green country sports oval, home of the Kettering Crickets, lies in the centre of the village and slopes down to the waterfront . Adjacent to the oval are other recreational facilities including an excellent skateboard park, large community hall, barbecue area, children's playground, tennis courts, community garden and bush reserve. The visitor information centre is adjacent to the Mermaid Café. The Oyster Cove Inn is an excellent place to enjoy a sundowner and watch fishing boats dock into the marina with their days catch.

How to get there
Airport: Hobart: 50.0 km
Ferry: Oyster Cove Marina: 3.0 km
When travelling from Hobart on the Southern Outlet: before you approach Kingston, take the right lane towards “Margate & Bruny Island Ferry”. Signs for Kettering follow shortly thereafter. You will also find there are two entrances to Manuka Road from Channel Hwy, it is easier to enter the property by taking the second southernmost entrance to Manuka Road as the driveway entrance is at a sharp an angle on a bend and awkward to access from the North.
