A detached bungalow based just outside of Morpeth in Northumberland, it can sleep two people in one bedroom.Cottage at Longridge is a detached bungalow near the town of Morpeth in Northumberland. It has a double bedroom, a shower room and a cloakroom, it can sleep two to four people. Also inside there is an open plan living area with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with an electric fire, there is also a conservatory with a double sofabed. To the outside there is off road parking for one car and a shared lawn with furniture. Cottage of Longridge is an excellent cottage in an excellent location to be enjoyed at any time of the year. Amenities: Oil central heating with electric opti-mist stove. Region: Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South. Town: Morpeth is a beautiful little market town and is well placed to reach the countryside or the coast from its central location in the heart of Northumberland. The town has plenty to offer such as the ruins of a historic castle, parks, churches and an old chantry that houses a bagpipe museum. Further afield to the south lies the bustling city of Newcastle upon Tyne and northwards is the historic town of Alnwick with its castle and gardens, whilst over to the East, Druridge Bay has miles of glorious golden sands to be enjoyed by the whole family. Close by is the National Trust property of Wallington Hall and all around Morpeth there is good walking country with access to the Cheviot and the Simonside Hills, making this an ideal base for a holiday.More
