This lovely cottage has been recently renovated to an excellent standard, benefits from a wonderful countryside views, a delightful cottage garden with a large paddock for children to play safely.
The front porch has plenty of room for coats and boots.
It has 2 large bedrooms one with a double bed and fitted wardrobes, the other has twin beds and plenty of storage.
Steep stairs lead from the hall to a small twin room in the attic, this is a great room, ideal for children & adults
There is travel cot and a high chair.
All bedrooms have garden views.
There are 2 steps to the bathroom where the bath has a shower over, a w.c. and basin. Towels are supplied.
The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine and electric cooker. Plenty of crockery and cooking utensils.Tea towels supplied

An excellent cottage. Spacious and great for families.vsafe for children to play outside. Great location for visiting local attractions. Pamela and Jim were friendly and helpful. They couldn't have made us feel more welcome. We will be back

There are many festivals in the Borders,. Riding of the bounds is celebrated in most border towns during the summer.Across the Tweed from the cottage, Coldstream has its festival or civic week at the beginning of August . a week of rides to local villages to mark the boundaries. Concerts, football. fancy dress, races and fun for all. On the Thursday the famous Flodden Ride takes place. A cavalcade of 200 horses and riders leave Coldstream and ride over the Bridge into England led by the Coldstreamer,( a chosen young man from the town) They follow a route South and end up at the Flodden monument in Braxton.The piper leads the Coldstreamer and civic party to a service at the monument to commemorate those killed on both sides of the Border in 1513.
