Had a great week in the cottage. Lovely cosy cottage with great views at the back. Beadnell is a lovely small village, the beaches are beautiful. Really well located, close to Seahouses and Alnwick.

We stayed here for a week. Two adults and two children. Kids loved the accommodation and particularly the garden where you can see the horses close up. Lovely touch on arrival with regards to tea/coffee and cake waiting for us and pint of milk in...More

About the neighbourhood
The area is renowned for its wide sandy beaches and sheltered sand dunes. Ideal for walking. You can walk south of Beadnell along the coastal path to Newton By The Sea where you can have the most enjoyable luch at The Ship Inn. If your appetite is not quite ready, soldier on south past the ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle to Craster, famous for its kippers and crab sandwiches - The Jolly Fisherman pub is the best place to have these sitting in their garden overlooking the sea with spectacular views of the coast.Walking along the beach north from Beadnell you will first come to Seahouses. Lots to see and do there (read about the boat trips above) and for sustenance we recommend any one of the fish and chip restaurants (we prefer The Neptune) or The Ship Inn just up from the harbour. The cosy li... more
