Holiday Rental House
Hillcrest Park is our rural, 6 acre, holiday location in the northernmost of the Yorkshire Dales, Teesdale. Surrounded by farmland, it offers peace, tranquillity and beautiful views of Teesdale – yet is only 10mins from the A66. It is ideal for walkers, cyclists and dog owners (we have a dog walking field onsite) and is close to Richmond, Barnard Castle, High Force Waterfall, Raby Castle and a host of other Dales attractions.Hillcrest was once a working farm, but the outbuildings have been converted into Holiday Cottages and we now have Camping Pods for those who want all the pleasure of camping and outdoorsiness, but without the hassle of wet tents on a windy day. Most importantly, we aim to offer all our guests a comfortable, get-away-from-it all, rural retreat. Each pod is insulated with...Hillcrest Park is our rural, 6 acre, holiday location in the northernmost of the Yorkshire Dales, Teesdale. The pods are empty, apart from a heater, light and electric socket which powers mobile phone chargers and travel devices, so you will need to bring with you everything you would if you were camping - apart from the tent.Onsite, we have centrally heated amenity block with showers and loos, plus an indoor pot washing room with a 'camping kitchen' (fridge, microwave, hob, kettle and toaster) and coin operated laundry. Wi fi is available.More

Booked for a friend, who had such a peaceful and relaxing time that he is now looking to return soon. He has praised everything, from the size of the pods, to the dog friendly service and the views.

About the neighbourhood
Hillcrest Park is situated between the villages of Winston and Caldwell and we are lucky enough to have 3 pubs within 2 miles of us. The amenities of Richmond and Barnard Castle are a short drive away, and we are still within striking distance of the Lake District, the North Yorkshire Moors and Coast.
How to get there
From A1(M), north or south, take the A66 Westbound at Scotch Corner. Travel 2 miles and take right turn onto B6274 signposted 'Winston'. Go through Caldwell Village. Continue for 1.7 miles and Hillcrest Park is on the left hand side. If travelling South from Scotland on M6, take A66 East at Penrith, J40. Head towards Scotch Corner and take B6274 signposted 'Winston'. Go through Caldwell Village. Continue for 1.7 miles and Hillcrest Park is on the left hand side. If travelling North on the M6, at J38 take the A685 to Brough. From Brough, take A66 Eastbound towards Scotch Corner and take B6274 signposted to Winston and Staindrop. Go through Caldwell Village. Continue for 1.7 miles and Hillcrest Park is on the left hand side.
