This Grade II-listed flint cottage is a piece of Margate history. Formerly part of the Cobb brewery, in years gone by it was used as a barrel store. Now, complete with original old beams scavenged from ships, it is a two bedroom holiday home ready for weekends and holidays on the Kent coast.

Set back from King Street in Margate's famous Old Town, with its shops, cafes and more The Old Barrel Store is two minute's walk from the Turner Contemporary gallery, the sea front and seconds from all the Old Town's attractions.

It is a very lovely cottage in a very good location. We enjoyed our stay with our kid. Garden is loverly. Cottage is very clean.

We had a lovely first family holiday in Margate, and The Old Barrel Store made it for us. It had everything you could possibly need for a young baby, and the local recommendations provided were spot on. Great location, too.
