Great venue for extended family gathering. House was lovely and cosy, and had everything you might possibly need. The location was ideal with so much to see and do locally, and a little further afield. All in all a great family home.

With family arriving from Sydney we took the opportunity to all spend the weekend together and chose Harbourways, and we are so glad we did! With varying ages this house allowed us all to spend time together, cook together and just simply enjoy each others...More

Attractions and places to visit; Travel and visitor information.The town of Emsworth lies on the border of Hampshire and Sussex. It is situated on Chichester harbour and was, in its early history, an important port for the area. Up to the nineteenth century, it was famous for its oyster fishing fleet. The older part of the town around the square and the harbour has some lovely old houses and still retains the atmosphere of the past. Warblington (1km) is believed to have been founded by the Saxons in the fifth or sixth century but all that now remains of the village is the parish church and the castle ruins. Getting around
You can see so much in Emsworth just by walking out the door to the sea, highly sought after village, the woods, tennis courts etc. there is also a bus stop at the bottom of the road and Emsworth train station is less 1KM away where trains can have you in Chichester or Portsmouth in 10 minutes. In fact the train can take you straight into Gunwarf Quays - a great shopping outlet full of restaurants, bars and a cinema. Southampton airport is 40 minutes away and there are also great ferries from Portsmouth to the Isle of Wight - a common day trip.
