Our family of six stayed here for two nights at the beginning of November. The accommodation was very clean and well laid out. Hayley, the owner, was vet friendly and helpful - the whole stay was perfect. I would come back without hesitation.

About the neighbourhood
A medium sized village with plenty of local amenity including 2 Adnams pubs , Chinese take-away , Fish and Chip shop, local Cafe and Village store. A factory outlet store with designer bargains is a regular attraction and can be used to purchase any essential items you have forgotten to pack. Both pubs have garden areas and offer decent food as well as the local brew. When in the Village you are never more than a street away from open countryside , Wrentham offers a local tennis and lawn bowls club as well as day ticket fishing with ponds to suit all levels of expertise and concentration including a great pond where even novice youngsters are guaranteed to catch a fish , great for Dads and kids to spend a little time. The Village sports a number of Historic houses and offers a number of ci... more

How to get there
Airport: Norwich: 60.0 km
Railway: Beccles or Lowestoft: 10.0 km
Ferry: Felixstowe: 60.0 km
From London Follow the A12 North , Wrentham sits astride the A12 so while easy to find you must be prepared for the fact that A road; designation does not mean much in sleepy Suffolk , by the time it gets to us its been a single carriageway road for over 40miles. From the Midlands , probably best to follow the A14 East to Ipswich then turn north on the A12. Guests from the North or Northeast can travel down the A1 or M1 and pickup the A14 and follow as above or indeed cut across country on the A17 east to Kings Lynn then take the A47 east to Norwich where they can find the A146 to Lowestoft , at Beccles they can then find the B1127 to Southwold and Wrentham is on this road about 3miles from Southwold.
