Mrytle cottage is ideal for a small family or a couple. It sleeps four in comfortable, well furnished surroundings.

Located in the heart of Flushing Village, a beautiful part of Cornwall on the banks of the River Penryn and opposite the town of Falmouth.
It is decorated to a high standard and furnished to create a homely atmosphere. It is especially cosy on chilly evenings when the wood burning stove fills the lounge with heat and a soft orange glow from the fire's flames. A flat screen TV along with DVD player and WiFi are also provided for your entertainment.

At mealtimes the large wooden table easily accommodates six people and if you need a highchair, one can be made available. The table can also be used as a games space for card playing or box games.

Had a lovely week relaxing at the cottage. The best pub we found was the 7 stars but the Standard is still with a visit. The dog loved the beach but not to happy with the ferry trip. Double bed was very comfy and the...More

About the neighbourhood
Many Cornish villages have become over crowded with tourists, but Flushing is much quieter, even during peak season, and it still benefits from a strong and vibrant community. The Flushing Regatta and Flushing Art Week are two annual fixtures not to be missed that the whole community embraces.

Flushing has two friendly pubs - The Standard, which was recently renovated and offers excellent food, and The Seven Stars, a more traditional pub with an equally extensive menu. There is also a stunning waterside seafood restaurant located on the quay, and a friendly well-stocked general store.
