We had a great 2-week stay at Amelia's Cottage. The cottage was well equipped: good kitchen equipment, large fluffy towels, very comfortable beds! Sitting room was fine for four. Lots of pamphlets/brochures for local attractions..and books if you are staying in. It was a perfect rental for two couples. Our biggest disappointment was the inaccessibility of the terrace. Having pored over the property description, I was disappointed to find the terrace accessible only via a steep, old stone staircase...and once up there, to have only a tree-filled view across the harbor to Falmouth. There was no water view as property photos indicated. Despite that, we enjoyed our stay..the scones and clotted cream upon arrival..Waterside Restaurant..and quietness of a small village. Our travel partners, who live closer, even plan to return.
