A loft apartment furnished to a high standard in the centre of Hadfield village with views of surrounding countryside. One bedroom with king sized bed, lounge with dining facilities, kitchen with modern appliances, bathroom with shower over bath. WiFi. Private parking to the rear of the property. An ideal base for walkers/cyclists as we are situated just a short distance from the Longdendale Trail.
The property is in the centre of Hadfield village with bakery,butcher, chemist & supermarkets, chip shops, take-aways , pubs & cafés, Tea Room & restaurant. Stunning scenery with walks around the reservoir and surrounding countryside. Two minutes walk from the railway station with trains to Glossop and Manchester.
Glossop is only a few minutes away by car (or train) and offers a variety of shops and numerous places to eat.

Faultless apartment with lovely personal touches, everything we needed for a lovely bank holiday weekend. Close to restaurants cinema ikea etc, but with views to die for. Alison there to greet us with a warm welcome and had even put the kettle on! Would love...More

Glossop is a busy, bustling former mill town and the largest settlement in the north-western corner of the Peak - though like Buxton it lies just outside the National Park boundaries.

Airport: Manchester: 17.0 km
Railway: Hadfield: 0.5 km
By car from the M60 take the M67 to Glossop/Sheffield then the A57. At the Gun inn, turn right towards Glossop to the mini roundabout at Woolley Bridge, where you turn left towards Hadfield. Continue along past Graphite Way roundabout to the New lamp mini roundabout. Turn right up Station Road and The Gables is situated approx half way up on the left. We are two minutes walk down the road from the train station which has a regular service with Glossop and Manchester.
Bus stops are just up the road linking Glossop, Stockport, Ashton and Manchester.
