This is our 2nd visit to both the barn and stable, with big numbers 14-15 friends. Perfect accommodation for socialising and relaxing. Slaggyford a small village between Alston and Haltwhistle, very rural but Hadrian's Wall just 30 min drive away. House swallowed up 6 adults and 5 children, plenty of space and a stream in the garden provided lots of fun. We liked the 2 separate seating areas and especially the underfloor heating. The Barn comfortably sleeps 10 adults in 5 Bedrooms. It can accommodate 2 additional guests on fold out single beds intended for children. There are 5 bedrooms. 4 of the rooms have one king bed in each and one room has 2 single beds. There are two fold out singles which can be used for children and moved to a room of your choice. There are 4 bathrooms; One large family Bathroom with double ended bath and w c, two ensuite bathrooms and another family bathroom with shower, w c and relaxing Sauna.
