The Old Smithy is set in the South Cheshire countryside across the courtyard from the owners residence. A beautifully maintained part beamed cottage ideal for 2 couples or a romantic break to get away from it all. The cottage offers a wood burning stove to cosy up to on those chilly winter evenings whilst the 'farmhouse' kitchen with its oak handcrafted units is an ideal space to share hearty breakfasts and evening meals whilst planning the many activities that the area has to offer....
Parking is in the courtyard for 2 cars.

Browsing in the local historic market town of Nantwich with its coffee shops, eateries and individual shops or heading into the 'Potteries' to check out the pottery outlets to find that bargain buy.... or perhaps a day at Chester Races...there are so many other places of...

Everything you need is here. Lovely supportive owners, and a treat to stay. Plenty of things to do and the local pubs are first class.

How to get there
From the south...come off the M6 at Junction 15. Take the 3rd exit off the roundabout and turn right at the traffic lights. Carry on (3-4 miles) to the roundabout then turn left.....carry on here for about 5-6 miles till you come to a T junction and turn right (passing The Swan with 2 Necks on the left) Carry on along this road for about 5 miles, passing Bridgemere Garden World on the right. About another mile turn right at the crossroads onto Checkley Lane. The Old Smithy is the 3rd property on the left. Turn into the courtyard where you can park right next to the cottage.

From the north....come off the M6 at Junction 16. Take the 3rd exit (signed Nantwich) carry on here 2-3 miles then at the next roundabout take 1st exit. Carry on for again 2-3 miles and then take the 1st exit off the...
