You pick up the keys from a safe box and so have total independence on arrival. We like to welcome our guests at a suitable time and make sure you understand the property, sometimes we do this by phone and sometimes in person. We love to share our passion for Cornwall and ideas for places to visit and eat. We can give the best walks for dog owners or young family visit ideas as well as top tips for more mature travellers. We like to respect your privacy but you can be reassured that we are friendly neighbours and we will give you milk coffee spices if you run out or spend time with you chatting about Cornwall.

Good size cottage with 3 double bedrooms, large lounge and large kitchen. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen. The location is fine as long as you are prepared to drive as it is down a deserted lane lined with abandoned cars/lorries which is initially a bit off putting.

Thank you for recognisising the high standard and value for money of the Cottage. It can seen a bit offputting but the MOT garage and the cars cannot be seen from our property as you turn a corner leaving you to discover the house with fields and trees all around it and great rural views and clear skies. The Cornish cottage, located at Doublebois, is a lovely ,spacious cottage, really out in the wilds. Very peaceful ,far enough off the main A38 so no traffic noise. Responsible pet owners are welcome. The lanes and paths of Bodmin moor are on your doorstep perfect for walks, and we have left walking guides for you. The conditions are dogs must stay downstairs and off the sofas. Dogs only allowed in the lounge when clean. Keep your dog on a lead- we are surrounded by sheep! The fee is 10 per pet per night.
