About the neighbourhood
We are just up the hill from the historic Rondout district of Kingston along the Rondout River with galleries, restaurants, cafe's shops and museums. Kingston is 90 miles north of New York City accesible by bus or train. In the summer a water taxi connects with Amtrak to bring travelers right to the bottom of our hill. Our private courtyard is tucked behind our gate and is a wonderful retreat to sip wine by the fountain or read. We are ideally located for jaunts down the hill for antiquing or hopping in the car to visit the Stockade district uptown Kingston for more shops, museums, restaurants and clubs including the renown mixologists at The Stockade Tavern and award winning stouts and ales @ Keegan's Ales microbrewery. If its hiking, skiing, water falling or swimming holes you are after we know all the secret spots.
