I went to Cape Town for work, and during my stay at Vrede Self Catering, I felt like I was on holiday! The place is absolutely stunning! The hostess was very kind and is definitely one of those people who would go the extra mile for you. The Studio Bedroom in which I stayed was perfect, I was able to have a few of my online meetings at the desk while enjoying a lovely sunrise view. There are also beautiful little walk routes on the premises. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

Perfect.
This is definitely 5star accommodation. From the comfort of the room, the kitchenette that had anything you might need to the stunning views over False Bay. When we needed to stay longer Maggie went out of her way to help us. Thank you.
I would recommend this to anybody. Will definitely stay there again.

Wow...........what a palace. We were ugraded to the Luxury Studio Apartment. 5 Star experience, absolutely beautiful, spacious, neat and fresh. I will recommend Vrede Self Catering to anyone anyday. Well done Maggie, your place is absolutely beautiful, top class :)

Comfy stay
Lovely place to stay.Had a warm welcome from Maggie. Room was Nicely decorated and clean. Great view, nature,beautiful lake and hiking trails🙂. Nice and quiet environment to relax and unwind. Wasn't expecting kitchenette for the room which I've booked,Definitely worth your money for. All boxes ticked (5 star👌)

Home away from home

Outstanding Villa
The best Place to stay in Somerest West, I really enjoyed. The owner Maggi is so kind helpful and respectful person. I’ll visit it again and again. I can’t find words to describe her treatment. I strongly recommend this place.

Not only is vrede the best place to stay in town. But has the best Host Maggie. She is always accommodating. Truly makes a stay at vrede even more amazing.

The well-marked trails through the estate are easy to hike and the ever-present sounds of abundant birdlife will lull you into a blissfully tranquil state of mind.
