JUNE 2023:
We spent almost a week at VREDE , during a Typical, and even more Extreme than usual , South African Winter Climate period, in the Cape.
The Team, Maggie, Moira and on-Site-Manager William, TRULY went the Extra Mile for us, with ánd without, all the unforeseen external challenges (and there were many).... 10/10 to Management !
The accommodation was Wonderful.
It all Spells Convenience!
100% for Cleanliness and a Comfortable Bed.
The location is just Great ..... A Beautiful Estate with hiking Trails, Peace, Safe Environment, Lovely Views, Shopping just down the Road...You name it, it all spells Wowwww!
We really do Hope to be Back.

Gorgeous space
Great hosts and absolutely beautiful space. We were let down by an Airbnb host and Maggie assisted without any hesitation. This is definitely one of our favourite Cape/Helderberg hot spots when we visit from Joburg and will surely be back. 👍🏼

Unexpectedly Beautiful
This place surprised me, I just wanted a place for the night before heading out the next day. I regretted having not stayed here for the whole week, I thought staying by the beach front was better but I was wrong.
This was definitely a home away from home. I loved everything about the apartment, the deco, the interior, the the views, the BED a plus + . The cherry on the top was our host Maggie….. she was amazing, her love and warmth is infectious from the time you meet her until you say goodbye. Hope to see u soon

Pleasantly Surprised
Situated in an absolute picturesque setting overlooking Gordon’s Bay, best sunset in SA, uninterrupted wifi and power when load shedding, beautiful hiking trail right outside our door, easy Uber, security, BEST BED EVER!!! Maggie and William SUPER accommodating and suggested a wonderful spa/dining for us. Got my hair highlighted and it’s the best color I’ve ever had! Thank you Maggie! Wanted to stay longer but she was booked…feel blessed if you can stay at this piece of heaven! Found this deer in the park. Got Braai?

Wonderful!
An excellent place to stay. Well located for the wine lands, beaches and Cape Town. You almost feel like you are staying in a game reserve with the surrounding bird song. Everything was clean, well maintained and managed by friendly professional hosts. Thank You

Perfect
Vrede Self Catering is by far my favorite place to stay when we are in the Western Cape. The estate is beautiful and peaceful,. Maggie the owner is amazing, her staff is so friendly, the apartments are all stunning with everything you will need. One can see that Maggie really thought about all the comforts her guess might need.

What an experience!
Maggie and her staff were absolutely brilliant during our stay. I would highly recommend the experience to anyone who is looking for a relaxing experience. Everything was clean and placed with thought and care. There is also the advantage of feeling safe! Thank you again Maggie, I’m looking forward to returning!
