Everything went like on butter: found the place easily, bed was great, thread count of the sheets was elegant, room and the A/C were perfectly fine, dogs were friendly and miniature horses were charming, the hammock was ample and sunsets blazing over the green hills. Over all of it lords Ashley, owner/manager, great conversationalist, inviting you to enjoy The (so called) Simple Life, while covering really efficiently an array of farm activities, and providing generally a very welcoming atmosphere at her B&B.
My personal regret is, after enjoying the dinners in the garden and the taste of the cast iron grill, that I did not allow myself more time for a special hobby - splitting some more wood logs. Beats any gym room. The trip to work was a cinch on 29 and the rolling country roads are quite romantic.
Stayed only 2 weeks and had to move because of earlier bookings, but, if returning to Kansas, will definitely stay here again.
All in All --- Thank you, Ashley.
