The gite has 2 bedrooms (a double and 2 singles), 1 bathroom, a well-equipped, modern kitchen and comfortable living room. Outside is a large, private terrace, facing South-West with panoramic views of Mont Ventoux and Old Oppede. The huge garden and large, fenced pool are shared with the owner’s property and another cabin in the grounds. The scale and layout of the gardens ensures there’s plenty of space and privacy for all guests. Just 1 km away is the charming and historic village of Oppede where there are some shops and a bakery. Oppede le Vieux (old) is an ancient, fortified, hilltop village, built on a rocky outcrop, overlooking the Lubereon and it’s many picturesque villages such as Gordes, Menerbes, Bonnieux, Lacoste and Roussillon. Leave your car at the base of the village and explore the narrow streets and 12th Century church. The winding roads of the Luberon, with spectacular views, are great to explore and you'll find many picturesque and markets on the doorstep and no doubt you'll want to stop and take some refreshments!
