The Melaya villas compound consists of three 3-bedroom holiday villas laid on 1 hectare beachfront land. The villas are luxuriously equipped with a large pool of 5 X 15 meters and a tropical garden of 2000m2 which is directly adjacent to the beach. The living area of the villa is an antique joglo that has been moved from Java to Bali. Most of the joglos part are antique and at least 75 years old and therefore have a truly authentic character. The bedrooms are situated around the joglo, each with a private bathroom. The rooms all have a view on the garden and the sea. In front of the villa is a large terrace with sun beds and a large pool of 75m2. In the pool there is a children area for them to swim and at the end of the pool is a sundeck to enjoy the Balinese sun. During your stay you can relax in the villa, the staff is ready to take care of you. We have a cook for each villa. In addition, the villa is cleaned daily and the pool and garden are taken care of. If you want to make trips or do other activities, there are 11 things to do and to see you can do from the villa, 11 things to do and to see that takes 15 minutes from the villa and 12 things to do and to see that takes more than 15 minutes from the villa including snorkeling and diving at one of the best dive spot in Indonesia, Menjangan and our guests favourite night tour to the world famous blue flame Ijen crater. The villas are equipped with a full kitchen, a TV and audio set and, of course, bed linen and towels are arranged. The villa manager is on hand to answer your questions and, if you wish, to organize tours and trips to the beautiful locations in the area. About the neighbourhood
The Melaya villas is located in the North West of Bali, against the natural park. Melaya Villas is in the most west part of Jembrana, it just ten-minute drive to Gilimanuk - the Bali port town. As Melaya is part of Jembrana regency which has long coastline, it makes them to be one of fish producing village in Bali.
Getting around
Set in a hectare peaceful and quite surrounding, the beach-front villas are only a few steps away from the swimmable volcanic black sand Klatakan Beach. Directly to the right of the villa starts a small coral reef, so you can start snorkeling directly from the villa. The beach is overlooking Banyuwangi the eastern part of East Java with its famous Mount Ijen – setting the beach with a magical Bali sunset. We are approximately three-hour drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport in a , thirtyminute drive from Pemuteran area, ten-minute drive from the West Bali National Park and ten-minute drive from Labuan Lalang which is the crossing point to Menjangan Island.
