Interaction with guests
Owning another property at the lake, I am often in the vicinity when guests arrive. If not, guests are informed beforehand as to where to pick up the keys. Whether there or not, guests have my mobile number if they need to reach me, and I also provide the name/number of the local caretakers in case there are any issues that need to be addressed.

Steve's cabin on Loon Lake was incredible. My husband and I spent our days hiking and canoeing and our evenings reading by the fire. Steve was a very attentive host. He thought of everything we could need and gave us great recommendations. The scenery was...More

With guests like Cait and her husband any owner would be lucky to host them. They are the consummate guests who went beyond what was requested prior to departure. My only regret was that I did not have the opportunity to meet them personally. I...More

How to get there
Although most guests use GPS, I like to provide explicit directions. Heading up to the lake from town (4.4 miles), I believe it's better to have markers pointed out so that the arrival is without mishap.
