Clean, quaint cabin, on a beautiful pond in a beautiful area. Exceeded our expectations. Our family of five adults were very comfortable. One could tell that the owners looked after the details !

This is our second time staying at the Birch Overlook. As always, the cabin was pristine when we arrived! Listening to the call of the loons is always relaxing!

About the neighbourhood
As you leave the endless traffic lights, strip malls and Wal-Marts behind, you will travel thru lightly populated rural Maine to Greenville. Once here you are now in a small outpost town at the edge of the 'Great North Woods'. It is different here; small shops, plaid flannel shirt diners and a couple of wilderness outfitters. The only traffic jams here are for moose sightings. And this is a recreational wonderland; canoeing/kayaking, white water rafting... more
