Decorated in shades of grays and greens, this charming country room creates a soothing ambience that is perfect for some R&R. The rustic bed's headboard is made from reclaimed antique doors, opposite a wall of beautifully crafted built in cabinetry and a fireplace. The room features a walk-in closet and large, tall windows that look over a quaint picturesque view onto West Short Street from the front of the house.
There is a queen size bed and a twin sized day bed, plus occasional seating for two. The room comes with a large flat screen television with Apple TV, Hulu and Netflix accounts included.

Also, I have lived in downtown Lexington all of my adult life - I went to Transylvania University and the University of Kentucky, and am very familiar with the local scene. This charming and spacious house is located in the historic and lively neighborhood of Western Suburb. Very eclectic and lively, easily walk to downtown attractions, eateries, and watering holes. Rupp Arena, Convention Center, Mary Todd Lincoln House, Lexington Opera House - two blocks or less!
Minutes drive from UK, Keeneland, Airport, Horse Park, Breweries & Distilleries, Transylvania University & Univerisity of Kentucky. SealyTempur, Lexmark, HP, Xerox - Just up the road!
Walk anywhere downtown. Uber/Lyft is easy and plentiful in Lexington. Street parking is easy, free and no limit if you are driving. Transport in my Infinity QX56 (seats 7) can be arranged for airport pickup, tours, etc. Just ask and we can arrange it.
