Little Stadbury is a newly refurbished two bedroom barn conversion with open plan living space including fitted kitchen, large dining table and comfy sofas. French doors open onto a small enclosed courtyard garden with barbecue and table and chairs for al fresco dining. Upstairs the two bedrooms have luxurious feather duvets and pillows and we can supply a cot or an extra bed for additional little ones. There are two bathrooms; one with shower and the other with bath and shower over. Little Stadbury is conveniently located a short drive from some of South Devon's most beautiful beaches including Bantham and Thurlestone. The pretty waterside town of Salcombe is a twenty minute drive and for a larger variety of shops, Kingsbridge is ten minutes away in the car. We accept well behaved dogs (but would respectfully request that they aren't allowed upstairs or on the furniture) and provide dog towels and somewhere to hose them down, just in case!!More

Like discovering hidden treasure, we thought, as we drove down the mile long, private drive. Eventually we turned a corner, saw the sea and then ahead of us a delightful barn conversion. According to the owners it was originally the piggery, but you'd never know....More

About the neighbourhood
We are secluded yet only a mile from the nearest village for local provisions and post offices, and pubs!! The Avon Estuary Walk can be accessed directly from our drive, and from there the coastal path stretches for miles in either direction. You're never far from a breathtaking beach here and are spoilt for choice. Kingsbridge is the nearest town, while Salcombe is no more than five miles away for boaty types!
Getting around
There are pubs and beaches within walking distance, but this being South Devon, there are always fairly steep hills involved, so these aren't for the small, elderly, infirm, or faint-hearted!
