This end terrace cottage is in the village of Heptonstall in Yorkshire and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.Cobble Cottage is a charming property situated in the village of Heptonstall, near the town of Hebden Bridge. It can sleep four people within its two bedrooms; one with a double bed and the other with adult bunks (to reach the double you must walk through the bunk room). There is also a bathroom, complete with a shower basin, toilet and washbasin. Downstairs there is a sitting room and separate kitchen, with steep staircase leading to a cellar with utility room. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Pub and shop 5 minute walk. Note: Steps down to cellar are very steep and may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. Region: From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Where else in Britain is it as satisfying to sit and do nothing as it is to explore the numerous pursuits on offer? Town: The pretty town of Hebden Bridge sits within the Calderdale Valley and provides home to the picturesque Rochdale Canal and a charming Victorian railway station. Excellent walking country, with the National Trust owned Hardcastle Crags and the Pennine Way close by, this delightful location is also the first 'Walkers are Welcome' town in the UK, a scheme supported by the Ramblers’ Association. Alternatively, scenic drives and fabulous cycling, as featured on 2nd stage of the 2014 Tour de France and the 2015 Tour de Yorkshire, can be enjoyed from your doorstep. The popular village of Howarth is nearby, well known for its winding cobbled streets and the Bronte Parsonage Museum, the former family home of the illustrious Bronte sisters. The area is also a must for steam railway enthusiasts who will enjoy the thriving Worth Valley Railway, whilst the highly acclaimed Eureka Museum is in Halifax, noted for its unique Piece Hall and its Victorian architecture. The stunning architecture of the Dean Clough complex should also be admired and is just seven miles away. Skipton, Gateway to the Dales and Holmfirth, recognised from Last of the Summer Wine, are also both easy car rides away.More
