In Snowdonia National Park on the owners' farm a mile from Penrhyndeudraeth and a few miles from Portmeirion is The Old Stable, a stone cottage with lovely views over mountains, forests and the estuary towards Harlech Castle. This comfortable accommodation is close to sandy beaches, Porthmadog four miles away, and other attractions like the Ffestiniog railway, forests and excellent walks. A few miles away there are good restaurants and pubs.

Handy location for both the coast and the mountains of Southern Snowdonia. The sheep in the barn were a welcome distraction for the children and the owners very friendly. The local bird-life visited the garden - even a Greater Spotted Woodpecker. The log burning stove...More
