This get away is located in the Ringling Museum area and is a perfect choice if you're seeking a great location. You'll enjoy a private fenced in yard with a pergola, lounge chairs etc. Walk, dog walk, jog, bike, skateboard! This is a great place for it all! We are located in a quiet community with off street parking & located 1 block from Sarasota Bay. It's a nice 5 mile bike ride to the Gulf. Sarasota Airport is just a short 1.5 miles and 10 miles from Interstate 75 if you're driving in. Everything is convenient. It has 3/4 vaulted ceilings and offers a new (2018) queen size bed and a new queen pull out sleeper that has a memory foam mattress for your comfort. The bath area has all new fixtures. Very nice location with easy access to RT 41 (Tamiami Trail.) Not driving? No problem, public transportation is 1/3 of a mile walk as well. We ask that you specify any special needs you may have. Small dogs are our friends and are welcome at no extra charge. Guests will be responsible if your little friend damages anything. We provide your first couple of nights with Starbucks coffee, paper towels and other paper products. We have sugar and substitutes available as well as some spices for your cooking convenience. No indoor smoking but ashtrays are available for outdoors. We list this as a guest cottage for 2 adults. If you have little ones there is plenty of room with the memory foam pull out sofa. highly recommended

We stayed for 3 nights over the New Year holidays. Its perfect for a couple with everything you need. It has a peaceful, private garden, great internet & TV, and easy access to central Sarasota. Very helpful and friendly owner.

About the neighbourhood
This cottage is in one of the most historic neighborhoods. Located 1 mile from the Ringling Museum and a short 5 miles to Lido Key & beaches and a block from the bay. Its a very quiet neighborhood with great access to anywhere you want to visit. It's a separate unit to the main house giving you full privacy, a private yard with a separate entrance to your private yard. Totally remodeled! Morning coffee is provided for your first few days and regular cooking utensils needed to prepare meals in the kitchen. This is a great get away and several of our past guests have used us as a base for their home buying searches. They have all become friends!
Getting around
Uber, Lyft and public transportation (bus) is a short .25 to the bus stop in the event you don’t have a vehicle. Getting around town is easy from our location, we are 3 blocks from Tamiami Trail (US 41) and it makes it easy to navigate around town.
