The bungalow is nothing fancy but right up our alley. We were very pleased with everything.It was a nice clean little place, very quiet and relaxing on the river. Definitely something we would rent again!

Cheryl is a wonderful host.
She communicated everything from our initial booking to our checkout.
All of the amenities where there.
The Bungalow was very clean.
Cheryl also recommended some great places to visit in the area.
(Devils Den for Snorkeling, Canyon Zip line Park, and Cedar key.)
We enjoyed looking at the stars at night on the floating dock, the fire pit, and enjoying coffee on the outside patio in the morning.
Your kayaks are a complete Bonus!

My three daughters and I visited to honor the seco...
My three daughters and I visited to honor the second anniversary of their father’s death. We did the same last year and have started a tradition. The calmness of the River, no Wi-Fi so we were given the opportunity to unplug, talk and play board games was priceless. Fanning Springs is also an added gift, The beauty of nature and the quietness of the bungalow are a true gift

We saw a couple of sturgeon jumping above the water during our stay there. My son and I enjoyed the two-person kayak. It is a very peaceful place to stay and is close to all amenities, just a few minutes away from the grocery store, etc. There is no WiFi, but they do have DirecTV, so we were able to find something to watch while relaxing. We didn't even watch the DVDs we brought with us. We have AT&T and Verizon networks, which are not strong but enough to research and browse some things.
Additional information: My husband is 6'1" and needs to duck his head on one of the door. If someone is a few inches taller, say 6'5, they would hit their head on the fans, so taller people may not like it very much. I am 5'1", and it does not bother me, but it may be an issue for tall people out there.
