About the neighbourhood
We are pleased to welcome you to our family home.
“La Maison des vendangeurs” is situated at 121 rue de la Poste, 30670 Aigues Vives.

The house was built in 1865. It was a winery until the 1950s. Our great-grandfather and his family lived in the main house, while the other buildings were used for winemaking, storage or as stable... The house in which you are, hosted the grape pickers: they were often coming from Spain and stayed in the winery during harvest time.
Getting around
Things to see and do (max 30 min by car)

The marketEvery Saturday morning, the city of Sommières welcomes a lively and colorful market.Tip: you can buy excellent food on the market (bread, olives, cheeses, meats, fruits ...), then order a drink at the terrace of one the restaurants around the square, and enjoy the fresh food you have just bought (as long as you order some drinks, they will let you eat the food you brought), a fresh and delicious picnic!

The castle
After a walk in the city, climb up to the castle, you will discover a nice view of the countryside.

You can canoe down the Vidourle from Sommières. It is a nice and quiet river. Many other things in the manual we will send you
