We have stayed at this location several times, and it always feels like home! It is just steps away from the small-town beach vibe of Vilano Beach and a short drive to all the activities St. Augustine has to offer. Cindy's by the C is immaculate and includes all the comforts of home. Cindy and Jimmy are the perfect hosts! They sincerely want their guests to feel welcome and enjoy their time in the area. Highly recommend!

Must stay!!
I HIGHLY recommend staying at Cindy’s by the C!! If you are staying at vilano beach you cannot beat the location - steps to the beach, walking distance to food/liquor store and restaurants. Not to mention that Cindy and jimmy went above and beyond and planned an Easter egg hunt for my 4 and 5 year old. They were the nicest, most thoughtful hosts we’ve ever had… and we’ve stayed at a lot of vacation rentals. 10/10 vacation…wish we could have stayed longer!! Thanks again Cindy!

This is the best place to stay in Vilano Beach
My family stated at Cindy’s for a wedding and it was perfect. The beds are really comfortable. Each room is decorated beautifully. The bathroom and kitchen have every item you need and more. Direct ocean views from the top floor and the sound of the surf complete this perfect home.

Perfect Beach Getaway
If you want a relaxed, non-touristy beach escape, stay with Cindy. She is located steps away from Vilano Beach and has all the amenities you need: kitchen staples, beach chairs and toys for your kids, games, outdoor furniture, phone charger, Wifi, etc. The rental is roomy, very clean, and has one spot for off-street parking. There are no beach high-rises – she is located in a residential neighborhood. There is a grocery and liquor store only a block away, so if you want to hang at the beach your whole vacation, no worries. If you want to take a break from the beach, downtown St. Augustine is 10 minutes away by car and has tons of shopping, restaurants, and history. Cindy is a great resource for dining options and day trips. I highly recommend Cindy’s by the C and St. Augustine. It is not your typical Florida vacation.

Great hosts!
Everything you need is here! Just pack your bathing suits. Walk to everything, beach is beautiful. Vilano is an awesome place to stay and Cindy’s by the C is perfect. Place is well stocked, clean as a whistle, and roomy with three bedrooms. Owners live onsite and are friendly and helpful.
Quiet neighborhood, near public beach with restrooms and showers. Would stay again.

Wow! Perfect beach getaway!
I’ve stayed in many Airbnb’s & VRBO’s over the course of the last ten plus years and I would have to rate this one through Flipkey as one of the very best! Cindy was an amazingly hospitable host, so responsive to any question we had both before and during our stay. Her house is clean, tastefully decorated with coastal beach vibes, and the back patio area is lovely and a great place to relax after a day at the beach, or to cookout or dine alfresco. And it’s got everything you might need during your stay, you seriously don’t need to bring a single thing with you other than clothing.
The town of Vilano Beach is quiet, which is exactly what we were looking for, and Cindy’s place is so convenient to the Publix, it’s a block away, and two restaurants, Beaches (huge deck overlooking the river side with casual beach fare), and 180 Vilano (yummy pizza & casual Italian fare), both of these restaurants are within short walking distance, so convenient! And then it’s a short drive into St. Augustine, just over the bridge, you could even walk or bike over the bridge on the walk/bike path if you wanted.
The beach itself is 200 feet away, maybe a two or three minute walk. Cindy shared a tip to walk a little further down the beach, past the big rocks for even more privacy, and it almost felt like our own private beach!
We only wish we could have stayed longer. Don’t hesitate to book with Cindy if you are searching online for a place to stay, you will not be disappointed! Thanks Cindy for making us feel so welcome!

Stunning-Cozy-Perfect-Everything we Needed!
We had an amazing time at Cindy's By the C. Perfect hosts who have made sure every little detail has been taken care of for their guests. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, clean linens, and anything you might need for a day at the beach...they have thought of everything! Location is great as well; beach, groceries, bike path, and shops are literally all with in walking distance. Hope we can visit again in the very near future.

Felt just like I was at home - the BEACH!
This was the very best stay we have had anywhere! The guest house is remarkable and has everything you need, seriously just bring your toothbrush! You will completely feel at home and the host Cindy makes you feel like you are family from the handwritten notes to the treats she leaves for you! This place has all the tiny little touches that you have to take the time to go into each corner and you will find another little treasure that was specifically put there for us and our pleasure. The decorations are out of a magazine and you truly are at a beach bungalow! The place was incredibly clean, my husband wants me to call her and ask her what kind of pillows she uses in the bedrooms, he even commented on how wonderful the towels smell! You will feel instantly like you have arrived a place you will not want to leave! I only wish I could give Cindy's by the C more stars than TripAdvisor allows. It was wonderful to meet them and we look forward to coming back and staying longer! Enjoy your stay! You will say Gina said so!

An elegant escape!
Elegant and spacious, classic and comfortable, this was a perfect escape.
I took my mom here for a short weekend. It was close enough to the things we wanted and far enough away from busy downtown St Augustine. Conveniently located close to the beach with great restaurants nearby. We were greeted by a personal note and warm welcome from Cindy, Jim, and Coco.
Whether you are looking for a quiet couple’s hideaway or a girlfriend getaway, this is a beautiful place. Looking forward to my next visit that cannot be soon enough!

Cindy's By the C is the perfect spot on Vilano Beach.
A block away is Publix where you can get all your groceries and personal items. Celebrating a special occasion? Let the owner know if you need assistance or want something special waiting for you when you arrive.
180 Vilano - one of our favorite restaurants is a block away
Puccini's Italian Restaurant
Beaches Restaurant - has great views of the Intracoastal during Happy Hour and they offer Sea-Doo and pontoon boat rentals.
Fire Wok Chinese Restaurant
Kingfish Grill, Aunt Kates and Caps on the Water - 5 min drive
Most restaurants on Vilano have live entertainment - check out their social platforms for details.
Downtown St Augustine is a 5 minute drive

If you venture along A1A or in to the Ancient City to see the sites, try a few of the incredible Breweries, the winery or the distillery you can either drive or take Uber/Lyft.

How to get there
Getting to your perfect vacation is relatively easy. GPS/Google Maps is very accurate and very easy. Guest parking is available on site - on the right side of the long driveway. Parking for 2 cars or a car and a boat! See you there!
Vilano Beach/St Augustine is within an hour's drive from Daytona Beach International Airport/Jacksonville International Airport and if coming in on a private charter/private plane the St Augustine Regional Airport is only 10 minutes away.
If arriving by boat - check out one of the marinas where they also have boat mooring options.
If spending time in the Ancient City - it is a short 8-10 minute drive. There is also a ferry that runs from the Vilano Pier - it runs seasonal so look online for more details, Uber/Lyft runs in the city - so there are many convenient options to get around.
