This meticulously restored 1930's home features exceptional architectural details throughout including hardwood floors, plaster beam ceilings, original art deco tile, etc... The home offers a large living room with wood burning fireplace, fully-equipped cook's kitchen with new stainless steel appliances, built-in breakfast nook, as well as a formal dining room with seating for up to 10, front and back patios, a gas BBQ, gas fire pit and sizable, newly landscaped South-facing back yard with ping pong table, bocce ball court and large courtyard dining area. We offer 3 flat screen, HDTVs each with DVRs and DVD players. There is also high-speed, WIFI with Netflix, Amazon Instant Streaming, Pandora, Spotify, X Box, etc... PLEASE NOTE: “On May 12, 2015, the Santa Monica City Council adopted the Home-Sharing Ordinance reiterating its ban on the rental of entire units as vacation rentals. The Home-Sharing Ordinance also legalized the short term rental of a portion of a person’s home when the host lives on-site throughout the visitor’s stay and when the host obtains a business license. Hosts are also required to collect and remit Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) if not collected and remitted by the hosting platform.” License #218444 50% payment due at time of booking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beauty in Santa Monica. The house is tastefully decorated in every detail and we loved the outdoor fire pit, bocce ball court and BBQ. The location is perfect in an upscale section of Santa Monica yet very close...More

About the neighbourhood
The property is located in a quiet, safe and convenient neighborhood in Santa Monica known as Sunset Park. We are 1.25 miles from the beach and one block from shops, cafés, restaurants, yoga, and a local grocery. There are two wonderful parks within walking distance of the house each with tennis and basketball courts. There is also a public, 9-hole golf course, a state-of-the art swim center and multiple Breeze Bike-Share locations right near the house. We are only a 15-30 minute drive from Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Westwood, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Downtown LA and LAX depending on traffic.
Getting around
Santa Monica is a very walkable/bikable town! Uber and Lyft rides are also plentiful. The Big Blue Bus and new Expo Line are public transportation options as are BIRD scooters and Breeze BikeShares. Parking permits will be provided as street parking is restricted to residents and their guests only
