Climb to the upper floor, and enjoy outdoor seating areas and sweeping views from a small captain’s walk on top of the roof allowing for views of whales and ships on Monterey Bay. This pet-friendly residence includes modern nautical décor in soothing shades of blue, driftwood gray, sand and white; a spacious garage offers one space for parking as well as storage of beach items. A second car may park in the driveway and a third directly in front of the house. In addition to its close proximity to downtown Pacific Grove, it’s also just a 5-minute car ride from the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row, 15 minutes to charming Carmel-by-the-Sea, and 20 minutes to Carmel Valley wineries and restaurants. Upon your arrival you will be greeted with complimentary wine and cheese, tickets for a wine tasting at Scheid Vineyards’ tasting room in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea and a basket of local information. An assigned concierge vacation house manager is available to assist you during your stay. We have also provided spa amenities in the bathrooms, spa robes and beach gear. The front door opens into a great room that includes the living room, kitchen and dining room, perfect for gathering everyone together for meals or conversation, with hardwood floors throughout. The kitchen features updated stainless steel appliances, including a six-burner gas range and a convection oven, black Corian countertops and two sinks for easy meal preparation. A capiz shell chandelier is the focal point of the dining room area, which includes a table that seats eight as well as counter seating for two at the kitchen island. The living room has a cozy sectional sofa surrounding the gas fireplace and 50-inch HDTV, as well as a window daybed in the living room that can be used as an additional sleeping area for 1 child or seating with ocean views. Also on this floor is a bedroom with a day bed for a single sleeper or it can convert to one king with foam topper. A bathroom with a combined tub/shower is nearby. Stacking washer and dryer laundry area is tucked inside the bathroom. A small office with desk is located off the kitchen. Downstairs, guests will find a larger bedroom with two twin beds that convert to a king, along with a reading nook with an en suite bath, which includes a shower with custom tile work and plenty of vanity space near the sink. French doors lead to a small outdoor area that includes a patio with bistro seating. The master suite on the top level has a double-sided gas fireplace as well as sunset views through its windows, and a small balcony with bistro seating where morning coffee or an evening drink can be savored. The bedroom includes a king bed that converts to two twins, a 42-inch HDTV, and hardwood floors. The bath includes a custom sink set into a marble vanity, a shaving mirror, and shower, and the dressing area also includes a bonus sink with plenty of storage and counter space.
