Our house was originally built in 1942, and in a neighborhood know as the Potter Homes of Oceanside. They were built for our soldiers coming back from World War II.
My husband and I bought the house about 13 years ago. We wanted to keep the charm of the old house, but enlarge the living space. My husband is a General Contractor and took care restoring the home while adding on a large living area inside and out. Our kitchen has been in Dwell Magazine.Beautiful Moldings, hardwood and slate flooring throughout Walking in you the front door you enter a sitting area and dinning room. Very spacious. My house is located in South Oceanside it's own little Village within Oceanside called South O. Within walking distance of our house are:
2 family owned Markets, The Beach Break (breakfast and lunch), brew pubs, The Pour House Bar/Restaurant with live Music, Sushi Bar, Noodle House, Urge Sports Bar & Grill, , The Privateer Coal Fire Pizza and Coffee Houses.
There are many interesting shops including a Surf Shops along with Surf wear and clothing shops. We also have a few hair salons, antique stores and a vintage clothing store.
Getting around
walking, uber, city busses and the train are ways to get around
The Trolley will take you down to San Diego for museum's, the zoo,
restaurants and more.
