Perfect apartment with spectacular hillside views of bay
We parked right outside, pushed the bell, and out came Anna to greet us with a warm, smiling welcome. We were showed to our apartment, No. 14, which was compact but still with plenty of space for a couple. Our stay was to be seven nights. As soon as we stepped inside, we knew we had made the right decision in booking Anna View. The king-size bed was super-comfy, there was great wifi, air conditioning (but we only needed it once as there was usually a cooling breeze), and a welcome pack of goodies in the fridge. We noticed there was also central heating for winter visitors. We enjoyed relaxing with a beer on the balcony in the evening, watching the changing light and clouds in the nearby hills, and savouring the fantastic views of the bay and out to sea. The apartments are an few minutes' drive from Plakias with its beach. Also recommended is Souda beach, just to the west of Plakias. About 10m from the apartments, you'll find the Dionyssos Taverna, and this is HIGHLY recommended. The food is out of this world, inexpensive, and comes in generous portions. The staff are great, too. All in all, a wonderful experience, and one we hope to repeat soon. Finally, I'd like to thank Anna for her flexibility on our last day, as we had a very late flight home.

Fantastic accomodation in a gem of a village
We stayed in apartment 15 and were so happy with it. The standard of both the furnishings and the quality of the fittings were impressive. From the beginning, from the initial enquiry, we felt as though we were dealing with someone that cared. Photo's and descriptions were accurate, if anything the apartment was better than the photos. We received a warm welcome on arrival. We didn't need any further assistance during the week but there was always someone around and on hand. Place kept really clean and fresh linen every 3 days. Oh and such a fab view! On top of that, 4 really good restaurants in the village and two great little shops.

Schönes Appartement mit tollem Ausblick
Sehr ruhiges Appartement mit tollem Ausblick und einer großen Terasse. Zum Strand ca. 5 Minuten mit dem Auto. Tavernen gibt es viele in der Umgebung und eine direkt vor der Haustüre. Freundliche Vermieter mit täglichem Roomservice.

Location avec vue panoramique
Logement plus petit qu'en 2013 mais toujours aussi propre et coquet. Literie impeccable et ménage toujours fait avec beaucoup de soins. Anna toujours aussi sympa et Mirthios et ses tavernes un lieu qu'il ne faut pas Louper pour des vacances en Crète réussies. Merci à Anna et sa famille

Great apartment, even greater views
Last week we enjoyed three days of fabulous views at AnnaView Apartments. We stayed in nr. 11 on the top floor. There was a small winding staircase but with the help of Yiannis and one of his relatives who carried our suitcases, that was no problem. The apartment itself was not large but big enough for two and it had everything you could need. The great bed deserves a compliment. The shower room was a bit basic compared to the rest of the interior, but everything worked just fine. Daily cleaning was great, they even did the dishes, perhaps that is usual in Crete? For dinner we tried both Taverna Panorama and the Taverna next door, Dionysus, and both were fine. Especially the opportunity to have a look into the kitchen of Dionysus and choose your dinner from the saucepans there was not to be missed. The other tavernas were still closed, at least it looked that way. On the whole we can recommend AnnaView Apartments and would certainly stay again there when we are near Plakias.

Perfection!
In the past my policy has been to never go to the same holiday destination more than once! This holiday was my 3rd stay at AnnaView...says it all :) As usual the accommodation was superb. The cleanliness is the best and the apartment was stunning. However, the highlight of staying with Anna and her family is the friendliness and helpfulness. You really feel part of the family! Mirthios is an idyllic spot with lovely walks through the olive groves and 4 great tavernas in the village. The most appealing aspect though, are the stunning views across Plakias. Yet again, my holiday lived up to all expectations (in fact exceeded them) and I will be returning again in the future. Thank you to Yiannis, Anna, Eri and the rest of the family.

Wonderful Apartment
We have just returned from a lovely week spent in Apartment 12 at AnnaView and would echo the comments made by other guests. We were made to feel very welcome by Eri on arrival and nothing is too much trouble. The apartment itself is very well equipped and spacious for two people. The daily cleaning is excellent and the towels and linen are changed every 3 days which is a bonus. The location is superb overlooking Plakias bay, whilst being very quiet and peaceful. Within walking distance are 3 excellent tavernas. We could not fault the service and attention to detail provided by Anna and Eri.

Leuk appartementje voor 2
...vlak naast de weg gelegen maar iets hoger ; weinig verkeer dus weinig (lawaai)hinder. Bij aankomst even op de bel drukken, waarna enthousiast welkom door Anna. Appt. nr. 13 ligt net boven de parking en heeft uitzicht naar het west-zuidwesten, over het w-deel van de baai van Plakias. Een goed, quasi vierkant terras met meubelen; een kleine keuken/eethoek/zithoek; kleine slaapkamer met prima bed. Alles in mekaars verlengde met enkel vooraan een raam en deur. Donker binnen, vooral in de slaapkamer, maar dat is natuurlijk geen probleem. Spaarzaam voorziene keuken met 2 elektrische pitjes, oven, koelkastje en voldoende gerei voor 2. Enige creativiteit is nodig bij het koken. Naast de keuken, kleine maar goede badkamer met douche, lavabo en toilet. Alles wordt prima onderhouden, dagelijkse poets en driedaagse verversingen van lakens en handdoeken. Wat ons betreft een zeer bruikbaar appartementje voor 2 goed te been zijnde actievelingen. Aanrader.

Vacanze 2013
Ritornare la sesta volta nello stesso posto, nello stesso appartamento è come tornare a casa, insieme alla propria famiglia. Così ci fanno sentire Eri, Anna e Yannis. La vacanza del riposo, dove tutto è perfetto .......... un posto magico! Siamo appena tornati e stiamo già programmando le vacanze del 2014. Che dire poi della Taverna famigliare Siroco che hanno aperto nel 2012? Si mangia molto, molto bene ed Eri è pronta ad accoglierti con il marito come a casa. Vi consiglio di assaggiare lo Stifado o l'agnello al forno con il limone.

Third but noth final time. Awesome destination.
Afetr our visits in 2006 and 2010 we stayed atAnna View Apartments in June 2013 again for a week. Twice we stayed in the beautiful "small" studio no 14, now we were so lucky to stay in the very spacious and luxurious apartment no. 15. 2/3 persons can be a guest there. The terrace is hugh, a big covered part with a nice big table and comfortable chairs. A sunbed onth sunny, smaller part of the terrace. For us adream came through.Interior very luxury, super bed and kitchen. As allt the aprtments, daily cleanin and every 3 days clean sheets and towels. Free WiFi (excellent connection) The pictures show the fabulous view this complex is also famous about. However the most attractive, we think, are the people who own this complex. They vtreat you from moment no. 1 as a close friend or even their own family. Anna and Eri are wonderfull hosts. Yiannis from a distance secures that every booking is tip/top arranged. At arrival refreshments are in the refrigerator as a welcome gesture. Sometimes home made cookies were on our table. Cretan hospitality with a glance.
